Oz or ml recommendation for glasses of water & timing of hydration question
In the chart of recommended daily water intake, approximately how many ounces or milliliters of water per glass? Also, do you recommend drinking water only between meals, and not as meals, as in Ayurveda? Thank you?
In the title line (above all the water glasses) it says "Drink at least one 8-ounce cup per age." So every cup is 8 ounces. If you want to convert ounces to mls, just google "oz to ml conversion" and it'll pop up for you to do the conversion.
I believe if kids are thirsty at dinner, then let them drink some water.
What you would not want is to see that a child will chug 1-2 glasses of water (or any liquid) at meal time. That tells me that they do need to drink more during the day. Even starting the day with a glass of water hydrates you from the start of the day!
Personally, I like have room temperature water just before dinner. Then I'm feeling a little full and not so tempted to overeat.
